Fang is a clanless lizardman. Normally a lizardman becomes clanless by being exiled from a lizardman clan. Such clanless ones usually die soon afterwards, being unable to survive without the safety of the clan.

But Fang is different. Fang chose to leave his clan, though it was not a choice he made easily. An evil troll called Grum Grum corrupted Fang's clan. Fang, a young lizardman at the time, was corrupted as well and was a member of many raids that the clan did over the months on nearby villages, at Grum Grum's request.

On one such raid, a valiant warrior, the soon to be knighted Sir Maxim, almost single handedly defeated the lizardman raiding party, almost slaughtering them all.

But for some reason or another he spared Fang and simply knocked him unconscious. When Fang awoke, a local hunter took Fang under his wing. Though rebellious at first, Fang was eventually turned away from the path of evil.

It was at that time that Fang denounced his clan and voluntarily became an outcast.

No one knows for sure where Fang is currently located. Last time he was seen he had joined an adventuring lizardman shaman from another kingdom on a vision quest.
