Note: Any spell points may be used to buy magic on lower levels instead of the level to which it was assigned.
Apothecaries must follow all the Rules of Magic. Spells must be cast with the left hand unless Ambidexterity is purchased.
Apothecary is a non-combat class and must follow all rules for non-combatant classes.
Apothecaries may carry up to seven potion bottles and may cast their spells on potion bottles that may be drunk to gain the effects of the spell. The potion bottles are consumed by drinking the contents (or pouring them out) and saying "I consume this potion." The spell effects do not occurring until the incantation is complete. The incantation may not be started until the bottle is empty. For safety reasons, no glass bottles are allowed. Bottles must contain at least one fluid ounce of a drinkable liquid.
